It’s that time of the month again…time to come clean about what I’ve spent on clothes, shoes, etc 🙂 For the first time this year, I feel confident that I stayed around my budget and didn’t completely blow it. Let’s see how I did this month:
1. vintage Coach crossbody purse, Goodwill $1.99
2. Old Navy military-inspired jacket, Goodwill $6
3. BCBG flowy tee, Goodwill $3.39
4. Peter Pilloto for Target tank in red iris print, Target clearance $12.48
I also made my first purchase with ThredUp and I can say that I am quite pleased. Although I did shop with a 40% off your entire order coupon, which made the prices much more digestible. Here’s what I got from ThredUp:
5. Eileen Fisher Dress Pants, $25.99 (plus 40% off)
6. Classiques Entier yellow tweed blazer, $14.99 (plus 40% off)
7. Karen Kane black tank, $4.99 (plus 40% off)
8. Chaus jacquard jacket, $8.99 (plus 40% off)
9. Sunny Leigh polka dot flowy blouse, $15.49 (plus 40% off)
Try ThredUp too and get $10 off your order! Please use my referral link!
And of course my new polka dot rain boots, which are super comfortable!
10. Sloggers polka dot rain boots, Amazon $37.44
TOTAL spent in March =$103.57 … not too bad I guess;)

Don’t forget to check out the Budgeting Bloggers linkup brought to you by Franish.
You did so great this month, especially with the rain boots! I really think I should get a pair, because they’re so practical 🙂 I got a few things from ThredUp too and I’ll be doing a post soon. Love these budget posts!
Can’t wait to see what you got from Thredup! and yes, you should get these rainboots!
I’ve heard a lot of good things about thread up, yay for 49% off too. I also love your rain boots, so cute!
Thanks Ginny! Yeah, I couldn’t resist the additional sale;)
That Coach bag rocks!
Thanks Aubrey! I am a huge fan of vintage bags, I can’t stop myself when I see one!
Cute rain boots! And yay for feeling good about one’s budget 🙂
I agree Jen! for the first time in a long time, I’m feeling good about my budget.
I must be shopping at the wrong places, b/c you’re getting some insane deals on the old school Coach bags. Such great finds!
Thanks Ele, keep hitting up consignment and thrift stores!
You’ll get so much wear out of that army jacket!
I love it, I’ve already worn it several times – it’s so comfy.
You did fabulous!!!
I don’t dare add up my expenditures for March, scary stuff. (Too many amazing Kate Spade sales)
I LOVE that Chaus jacket!!! It’s fabulous.
❤ Jules
Thanks Jules! You got some amazing kate spade stuff…swoooon. Haven’t worn the Chaus jacket yet…don’t know how to pull it off for the casual office -maybe with a white tee and jeans?
Thanks!!!
Hmm, I think you could totally rock that jacket with jeans and a white tee. Maybe even a coloured tee. (Hard to tell exact shades of colour in a photograph) Do it!!! Jackets like that always stump me a bit too, I tend to feel super dressed up, whereas with a cardigan, it seems more “everyday”. Lame, I know.
It’s such a gorgeous classic piece. I love it.
❤ Jules
As usual, you pretty much did amazing at thrift stores. I can’t believe you found that coach crossbody bag! And I have had my eye on a utility jacket for forever, so I am definitely a little jealous 🙂
Thanks Ashley! I am a vintage coach collector, so I can spot them from a mile away. And yes, you should definitely get a utility jacket…I’m wearing mine right now and its so comfy!
Awesome!! I think you did great this month!! Seriously, this month I need to get to sending in my Thred Up bag!!
yes you should!!! thanks!
great finds, good job, you! 🙂 Love the rain boots
thanks Julie! I saw the polka dots and I needed boots so it was a perfect match!
Great job on this month’s budget, you definitely got some great bargains!!!
Thanks Antionette! I love getting a good deal, plus I was too busy to go all out with my thrifting, so that helped:)
Too busy to thrift…bite your tongue – lol. Have a wonderful weekend.
wow, i think you had a great month!
Thanks Kristen!
What are your thoughts on the rain boots? I’m looking for a sturdy pair.
I really like the ones I got (sloggers). plus they’re made in the USA. I’d recommend them. a
Nice job! I really need to start keeping better track of my spending. Also, I’m definitely interested in thread up, if I decide to take the leap I’ll totally use your referral link!
Miche from Buttons and Birdcages
Thanks Miche! Yeah, I really enjoy tracking my spending, even though some months I’d rather forget about it. Still keeps me on track and helps me remember things I bought, because I will often forget things.
