I have spent the last couple of days eating a lot of chocolate, spending quality time with hubby, and exchanging valentines (at work).
I sincerely hope each and every one of you had a great day yesterday. Also, I wanted to say something to you…my dear readers (all 10 of you)…
THANK YOU all for coming over to my little blog and chatting with me and sharing your advice, comments, style tips, encouraging words, etc. I wouldn’t be blogging if it weren’t for you. So, I wanted to thank you. Because valentine’s day isn’t’ just about romantic love, it’s about filial love and appreciation for your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances. (Although we should be doing this every day, right?)
I also wanted to share with you my special Valentine’s outfit that I wore to work yesterday. It’s made up of mostly thirfted finds (as usual).
Outfit details:
Dress: Just Taylor red ruffle dress, thrifted $5
Belt: black patent and elastic, thrifted $1
Shoes: Trotters black patent peeptoe slingback mary jane w/ chunky heel, thrifted $4
Tights: very old (as you can probably tell)
Bangles: various black plastic and studded bangles, thrifted $1-2 ea
Cardigan: black Ann Taylor cardigan, thrifted $3.59
Hope you have a great weekend! ’til next time!
ciao,
Nout
