I have had REALLY great luck finding bags/purses at thriftshops this weekend and last. This weekend my friend Betsy invited me to go thrifting around Greensboro, NC and I had a blast! You’re not going to believe what I found (and how much I paid)!
here is my haul:

I cannot believe I scored this awesome (and authentic, I may say) Coach tote for only $4.50! I really hit the jackpot! I added the polka dot ribbon bow for extra fun. It was in such amazing shape, all I did was use black shoe polish to polish the corners. The leather is so soft and supple. AND I had been looking for a black leather purse! It was kismet!
This Ashley Brooke (sold at DSW I believe) crossbody has a lot of awesome compartments. I think this bag will be great for traveling.
And last but not least is the AWESOME vintage Dooney & Bourke crossbody satchel and wallet set. It’s in great condition and that’s probably the reason I was willing to spend a little extra on it. I wouldn’t usually shell out this kind of money ($35) but I figured since it was in great vintage condition WITH the wallet/organizer and I had been wanting one for a few months, that it was worth it.

Thanks! I go thrifting at least once a week, sometimes more. The trick is go often, look through everything, and don’t give up!

Thank you! YES, the prices were amazing. And the reason why most of them were only $4.50 was because I also had a 50% off coupon at one of the thrift stores. Still $9 isn’t bad, even without the coupon.

What a haul! I’m trying to find a good crossbody for travel at the moment. I must hit up the op shops!
I have found that crossbody bags are the BEST for traveling. Fanny packs are good too but sometimes they’re too small to fit everything I need.
The old pebbled Dooneys are sinnnnful. I stole my Moms.
LOL! If my mom had one, I would have stolen it too. I stole my mom’s old style coach crossbody.
After some research, I uncovered that this pebble dooney is a REALLY good replica. I was pretty sad about it. But I think I’ll still keep it. It’s a really nice bag after all.
Oh no! When I think of knock-offs I always figured they’d be the the bags that have the “DB” logo on it (or the coach c’s) and not the more classic styles. I won’t tell a soul!
That Dooney and Bourke bag is great.
I loved it, that’s why I paid so much for it. Well it wasn’t THAT much, just more than the usual thrift store purchase.
